Marshall Langston 2 – 0 Newent Town
Marshall Langston beat Newent Town 2 goals to nil in the Junior North County Cup Final on Thursday night at Shortwood.
The opener coming from the big VC (Darryl Cook) with his first goal of the season! Some are claiming it was an OG as the Newent defender smashed it into the roof of the net whilst trying to clear it off of the line!!!
Then Daniel Knight secured the win with a fantasic goal to make it 2 nil in the first half. Some tough and resolute defending kept Newent at bay in the second half that helped bring home Nathan Mustoes first silverware as a manager.
